Islamabad Police extends job application deadline
Thousands of job seekers have received a major opportunity after Islamabad Police extended the deadline for applications against 1,712 vacant positions in the federal law enforcement agency.
According to official details, the recruitment drive was launched to fill a wide range of vacancies in Islamabad Police. The original deadline for submitting applications was July 8, but authorities have now extended it to July 15 following strong public interest.
Officials said the decision was taken to facilitate more candidates and ensure that all eligible applicants have sufficient time to complete the application process.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced the extension through a social media message. He encouraged individuals who have not yet applied to take advantage of the additional time and become part of what he described as one of Pakistan’s leading police forces.
The minister said the recruitment campaign offers young people an opportunity to serve the country while building a professional career in law enforcement. He urged eligible candidates not to miss the chance to join Islamabad Police and contribute to public safety and national service.
The recruitment drive has attracted significant attention from applicants across Pakistan, reflecting strong interest in government employment opportunities.
Authorities have advised candidates to carefully review eligibility requirements and complete their applications before the revised deadline. Officials also urged applicants to rely only on official channels for information regarding recruitment procedures.
The extension is expected to increase the number of applications and provide more aspiring candidates with a chance to compete for positions in Islamabad Police, one of the country's most prominent law enforcement organizations.
