Hina Javed murder case takes new turn after DNA testing

DNA tests of key suspects in the Hina Javed murder case have been completed at the Punjab Forensic Science Agency in Lahore.

Samples from Hina Javed’s husband, her father-in-law and domestic worker Zeeshan were collected and tested during the investigation.

The testing was carried out in the presence of Hina’s brother, Fahad Javed, who had filed the murder complaint with police.

The forensic process is expected to help investigators examine the evidence and determine whether the suspects’ accounts match the available material.

During the investigation, domestic worker Zeeshan reportedly confessed to killing Hina Javed.

According to the investigation, Zeeshan claimed that Hina’s husband had offered him Rs100,000 to carry out the killing.

The allegation has added another important element to the case, although the claims remain part of the ongoing investigation.

The main suspect, Faisal Asghar, and his father have denied the allegations against them.

Police are continuing to examine the statements of the suspects along with forensic evidence before reaching conclusions about what happened.

Post-mortem reveals serious injuries

Earlier, Hina Javed’s post-mortem examination revealed several injuries that raised questions about the circumstances surrounding her death.

The examination was conducted after Hina was allegedly murdered at her residence in Rawalpindi’s Lal Kurti area.

According to the post-mortem report, a fracture was found in her neck bone.

The report also recorded injuries to her ribs and hip bone. Blood was reportedly found around her heart during the examination.

The post-mortem was conducted by Dr Maria Khalid around 12 hours after Hina’s death.

Her DNA samples were also collected during the examination and sent to a forensic laboratory for further analysis.

The findings have become an important part of the investigation as police attempt to establish how Hina died.

Exact cause of death still being examined

The post-mortem report did not initially establish the exact cause of Hina’s death.

Different samples were therefore sent to a forensic laboratory for additional testing.

According to the report, Hina was allegedly hanged by her husband. However, investigators have not yet treated the forensic process as complete.

The final cause of death is expected to be determined after the laboratory reports are received and examined by the relevant authorities.

This means the DNA results and other forensic findings could play an important role in clarifying the circumstances of the death.

Police are also expected to compare the forensic evidence with statements made by the suspects and witnesses.

The investigation remains ongoing, and the available evidence is still being assessed.

Police register murder case

A murder case was registered at Civil Lines Police Station on the complaint of Hina’s brother, Fahad Javed.

Police have arrested Hina’s husband and domestic worker in connection with the case.
