Hajj 2027 registrations cross 51,000 in two days
According to the ministry’s spokesperson, around 46,000 applicants completed their registration through the online portal, while another 5,000 registered from home using the Pak Hajj mobile application.
Official figures show that nearly 41,000 applicants opted for the government Hajj scheme, while around 10,000 chose the private Hajj scheme. The strong preference for the government scheme reflects the growing interest among intending pilgrims.
Among the registered applicants, approximately 24,000 are from Punjab, 16,000 from Sindh, 7,000 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and 3,000 from Islamabad. The ministry further stated that around 800 applicants registered from Balochistan, 260 from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and 77 from Gilgit-Baltistan.

Registration data also shows that 30,000 men and 21,000 women have applied so far. The highest participation has been recorded among people aged between 30 and 48 years, reflecting strong interest from working-age citizens.
Officials said the Hajj operation is being transformed into a fully paperless, end-to-end digital system with the support of the National Information Technology Board. The initiative aims to provide pilgrims with easier, faster, and more transparent services.
The ministry added that the mandatory registration process for Hajj 2027 will continue without interruption. Details regarding Hajj expenses, packages, and other arrangements will be announced in the next phase. Authorities have advised intending pilgrims to complete their registration within the prescribed period to avoid any inconvenience during the upcoming stages of the Hajj process.
