Hajj 2027 installment deadline nears as applications’ cancellation warned
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has also made a verified medical fitness certificate compulsory before payment.
Second Installment Deadline Approaches
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has urged successful applicants to deposit their remaining Hajj dues before the deadline. Applications will be cancelled if payments are not completed by October 20.
Pilgrims can pay through the National Information Technology Board’s Digital Hajj Portal or the Pak Hajj mobile application. Available payment methods include bank cards, 1LINK and manual bank challans.
Medical Fitness Certificate Required
Pilgrims must upload a verified medical fitness certificate before paying the second installment. Applicants need to download the prescribed form from the Hajj portal, have it examined and verified by a doctor, and upload the certified document.
The ministry has advised applicants to complete both requirements well before the deadline. This will help them avoid last-minute problems with their payments or medical documents.
51,500 Pilgrims Have Paid Second Installment
According to the ministry, 51,500 pilgrims had paid the second installment by October 12, generating Rs32.6 billion. Of these, 26,000 used 1LINK, 2,126 paid by bank cards, and 23,200 submitted manual bank challans.
Online payments accounted for around 55% of the total, according to the figures provided by the ministry. The remaining applicants must complete their payments within the announced timeframe to retain their places under the scheme.
Pakistan’s Hajj 2027 Quota and Cancellation Rules
The government has allocated 107,526 places under Pakistan’s official Hajj Scheme 2027. Pakistan’s total Hajj quota for the year is 179,210 pilgrims.
The ministry has warned that applications missing the October 20 payment deadline will be cancelled. Any amount already deposited will be refunded to the applicant’s account, according to the announcement.
Pilgrims need to complete both the payment and medical certificate requirements before October 20. Missing either step could create problems with their Hajj applications.
Applicants should use the official Hajj portal or Pak Hajj app and keep their payment records. Completing the process early can help avoid last-minute delays and cancellation risks.
