Govt opens overseas jobs for 500 unemployed youth
The initiative aims to expand overseas employment Pakistan and create new income opportunities for affected families.
Joint initiative by federal and provincial governments
According to official sources, the decision follows the implementation of the One Document Policy at the Chaman border.
The federal government and the Balochistan government have agreed to provide overseas job opportunities for 500 unemployed young people.
Officials said the programme is intended to help unemployed youth Pakistan who lost income due to border restrictions by connecting them with Pakistan jobs abroad.
Thousands of free passports issued
To support the plan, the Balochistan government has already issued 5,000 free passports to eligible young people.
Authorities said these passports will help applicants complete travel requirements and apply for overseas jobs Pakistan more easily.
They added that the initiative is expected to make overseas employment Pakistan more accessible for people living near the Chaman border.
Residents welcome the decision
Local residents welcomed the announcement, saying overseas job opportunities could reduce unemployment and improve the financial condition of families affected by the One Document Policy.
