ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): The government of Pakistan has once again raised the petrol and diesel prices for Rs4.42 and Rs.6.10 respectively.

The government has issued a new notification announcing higher prices for petroleum products.

Under the latest petrol price increase, the price of petrol has gone up by Rs4.42 per litre.

After the increase, petrol will now cost Rs380.24 per litre.

The decision comes as motorists are already facing high transportation and fuel expenses.

Diesel rate also increased

The government has also announced a fresh increase under diesel price Pakistan rates.

High-speed diesel has become Rs6.10 more expensive per litre.

Following the latest change, diesel will now cost Rs409.42 per litre.

The diesel price Pakistan increase could affect transport operators, commercial vehicles and other sectors that depend heavily on diesel.

New rates effective from September 15

According to the notification, the revised prices will apply from September 15.
