An advance team from Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs has left for Saudi Arabia to prepare arrangements for Hajj 2026. The team will supervise facilities and ensure smooth services for Pakistani pilgrims.
Officials said the 80-member delegation includes support staff and members of the Pakistan Hajj Medical Mission. They will set up key offices and service centers in Makkah and Madina to assist pilgrims.
A reception team will also arrive to take charge before the official Hajj flight operation begins, which is scheduled to start on April 18. Preparations are being finalized step by step.
The ministry said the team will handle important arrangements, including accommodation, meals, and transport for pilgrims, ensuring that all basic needs are properly managed.

The medical mission will establish hospitals and dispensaries in Saudi Arabia to provide healthcare services. This step is aimed at ensuring quick medical assistance for pilgrims during their stay.
In a major relief, the government has also announced free SIM cards for Pakistani pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. This will help them stay connected with their families through calls and internet services.
Under the long Hajj package of 40 days, pilgrims will receive 600 local and international minutes along with 40GB of internet data. Those opting for the short package will get 300 minutes and 25GB of data free of cost.
Officials said these steps are part of efforts to improve facilities and make Hajj 2026 more comfortable, organized, and smooth for Pakistani pilgrims.
