Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik, speaking at a joint press conference with Power Minister Awais Leghari, said gas will be supplied at “maximum pressure” from 3 am to 10:30 pm throughout Ramazan.
He added that an “additional volume” of gas has been arranged to avoid shortages and ensure convenience for consumers.
To closely monitor the situation, “situation rooms” have been set up at the head offices of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company. Regional offices have also been directed to monitor supply, especially in tail-end areas.
