Eight Islamabad buildings sealed over fire safety violations
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has sealed eight buildings in Islamabad for failing to comply with fire safety rules. The action comes as the authority expands fire safety inspections across the capital to check whether buildings meet the required safety standards.

The buildings sealed during the inspections include Shaheed-e-Millat Secretariat, State Life Building, TDAP Building and Beverly Center. NIC Building, Crown Plaza, Khudadad Heights Plaza and Envoy Continental Hotel were also sealed for failing to comply with fire safety requirements.
