(Web DESK): The family of social media influencer and activist Sana Yousuf, who was shot dead in Islamabad, has recognised the suspect through an identification line-up that was held in Adiala Jail.

Umar Hayyat has been recognised as the top suspect by Sana’s mother and aunt as per the police sources.

Under the superintendence of a judicial officer, the identification lineup was held, and then a court decree issued Umar Hayyat to a 14-day judicial detainment in Adiala Jail.

Umar Hayyat, a 22-year-old Faisalabadi TikToker, was apprehended soon after the murder. Since then, he has confessed to the murder of Sana Yousuf. Police have added that the reason behind the murder was because Sana Yousuf constantly rejected Umar Hayyat s proposals and friendship requests.
