According to police sources, before the incident, there was a telephone conversation between Tahir Anjum and Neeli Pari. Neeli Pari also visited the house of Tahir Anjum to plan the incident.

Police arrested Aneela Riaz from the house of Tahir Anjum, and the latter told the police that she had come to apologise to him.

Tahir Anjum and Aneela Riaz contacted each other several times, and police have also obtained the CDR of Tahir Anjum which confirmed the contacts between the two.

The police have provided the complete details of the case to the higher authorities.

It is to be noted here that Aneela Riaz assaulted stage actor Tahir Anjum outside the Punjab Assembly in Lahore a few days ago. Blaming him for calling PTI founder Imran Khan a terrorist, she threw fists at him and ripped his clothes.
