This heartbreaking incident highlights the growing risks of climate change in Pakistan’s northern regions. As temperatures rise, glaciers are melting and becoming more unstable, leading to sudden collapses that can be fatal for unprepared tourists. Naran, once considered a peaceful and scenic escape, is now facing natural threats linked to global warming.

Authorities must now take urgent steps to map dangerous zones, issue real-time warnings, and guide tourists about which areas are safe to visit. Tragedies like this serve as a reminder that beauty often comes with risk, especially in regions vulnerable to environmental change.
