Five die as Rescue 1122 ambulance hits an oil tanker in Attock

ATTOCK: (Suno News) Five people died after a Rescue 1122 ambulance carrying a female patient to a hospital collided with an oil tanker in Attock on Saturday.

According to Rescue 1122, those who died in the accident included three women, a rescue official and the patient while three others including a rescue official sustained critical injuries.

The accident took place at Hakla interchange when the ambulance, carrying the paralysis patient and her relatives to a hospital in Rawalpindi, hit the oil tanker.

The Rescue 1122 official, who died in the accident, was a technician.

On the other hand, Hyderabad police recovered a woman and her daughter on Saturday, a day after they were entombed alive by relatives in a wall of their home over a property dispute.

According to police, the incident occurred in Unit Number 5 of the Latifabad area in Hyderabad. The woman’s nephews entombed her and her daughter alive in a wall over some property row.

Upon being informed about the incident, a team from B-Section Police Station rushed to the house and recovered both women by breaking the wall.

“As per initial investigations, the women were buried behind the wall for one day,” the police spokesman said.

“The police are now conducting raids to arrest the accused who are on the run,” he added.
