Rescue 1122, Pakistan’s premier emergency response service, has announced paid internship programs for youth across Punjab. The initiative aims to provide young professionals with hands-on experience in emergency medical services while earning a monthly stipend of Rs40,000.
Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari shared details in a video on the Punjab government’s official YouTube channel, highlighting that the internships are available for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) roles. Applicants must have a Punjab domicile and possess a diploma in nursing, paramedical, or allied health fields, with at least a second division.
Age Limit and District-wise Seat Allocation
The internship program targets youth aged between 18 and 30 years. To ensure fair representation, seats have been allocated district-wise across Punjab. Major allocations include Lahore (131 seats), Faisalabad (84), Multan (82), Bahawalpur (72), Gujranwala (70), Rawalpindi (70), Sargodha (70), and Sheikhupura and Muzaffargarh (65 each). Other districts, including Attock, Kasur, Jhang, Rahim Yar Khan, Sialkot, and Vehari, also have multiple seats.
How to Apply
Interested candidates can submit applications online through the Central Testing Service. The last date to apply is January 27, 2026. Selected interns will gain practical field experience while receiving a competitive stipend, making this a highly attractive opportunity for young professionals aiming to build a career in emergency medical services.
