ISLAMABAD (Suno News): The negotiations between the federal government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) regarding venue for sit-in end in deadlock.

The federal government and PTI held negotiations regarding the location for sit-in at residence of Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

The delegations of two parties, comprising key leaders participated in the talks to fix a location for PTI’s sit-in.

The government delegation includes National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Federal Minister Amir Muqam, and PM’s aide on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah.

On the other hand, PTI committee consists of former Speaker of National Assembly Asad Qaiser, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, and Opposition Leader in Senate Shibli Faraz.

However, Senator Shibli Faraz clarified that he was not formally part of the committee to hold dialogue with government. He added that party would hold negotiations with consent of incarcerated PTI founder, Imran Khan.

According to sources, Peshawar morr could be a potential venue for sit-in if the two parties reached agreement.

Government requested PTI leaders to avoid entering Islamabad as Belarusian delegation is in Pakistan and a conference is scheduled to be held tomorrow (November 26).

PTI leadership was adamant on staging sit-in at D-chowk, sourced added.

Both parties claim that their stance and actions are in line with Constitution. The dispute took place between government and PTI over sit-in location. The talks could not break the deadlock between the two warring parties.

PTI caravan reached Islamabad’s vicinity, aiming to reach D-Chowk in response to Imran Khan’s ‘final call’ for protest.
