“Imran Khan reiterated that this was the final call of protest,” Barrister Gohar said.
PTI Chairman barrister Gohar Ali Khan along with other party leaders, Barrister Muhammad Saif and MNA Ali Muhammad Khan met incarcerated Imran Khan in Rawalpindi s Adiala jail.
During the meeting, Barrister Gohar apprised Imran Khan on the current situation regrading protest.
After meeting Imran Khan, Barrister Gohar interacted with reporters. Addressing the media outside Adiala jail, he stated that PTI founder’s call for protest is final and there is no chance of calling off the protest at this moment.
Responding to question regarding negotiations, he told the reporters that talks were underway, we would tell media about developments in talks soon.
It may be recalled that PTI founding Chairman Imran Khan gave final call for protest on November 24 against his detention, passage of 26th Constitutional Amendment, and detention of party workers.
In response to the founder’s call, party workers started marching towards Islamabad from Khyber Pakhtunwa and other parts of the country.
However, the government blocked all routes leading to capital in order to prevent sit-ins amidst security concerns.
