Key government officials have informed the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf that a special panel of doctors will conduct a complete medical examination of its founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan today.
Sources said the chairman of PTI, Barrister Gohar, was contacted by senior officials who assured him that the panel, comprising experts from relevant medical fields, would perform a detailed assessment of Imran Khan’s current health. The government representatives also briefed PTI leadership on the procedures and arrangements to address any concerns regarding the examination.
After the evaluation, a formal medical report will be prepared and shared with the relevant authorities and parties involved. The panel aims to provide an objective review of Khan’s health condition.
Meanwhile, the opposition alliance continues to protest, demanding that Imran Khan be allowed access to his personal physician. Demonstrations are ongoing at three locations in Islamabad, with large crowds gathered. Opposition leaders argue that personal doctor access is necessary to dispel any doubts about his health.
