The new schedule will remain in place from December to February. During these months, households will receive gas only at specific times of the day.
According to the loadshedding plan, gas will be available from 5:30am to 8:30am, 11:30am to 1:30pm, and 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Officials advised citizens to cook breakfast and meals during these slots so that the demand can be managed smoothly.
SNGPL authorities clarified that this loadshedding will not apply to the industrial sector. They said that gas demand rises sharply in winter, making such steps necessary to balance supply.

Officials also urged consumers to use gas only when needed. They warned that careless usage may lead to shortages and could push gas prices higher.
The SNGPL spokesperson stated that gas is available in the system and there is no shortage, but the fuel is expensive, so consumers should use it responsibly.
Citizens have been advised to plan their daily routines according to the schedule to avoid inconvenience during loadshedding hours.
This new schedule shows how tight the gas situation becomes in winter. People now have to plan their cooking around fixed hours. SNGPL says the system has gas, but it is costly to manage. The advice to use gas carefully hints at pressure on supplies. Households will need to adjust quickly to avoid daily problems.
