The Mahnoor Safdar nikah was held at the Sharif family’s Jati Umra estate in Lahore on 12 September 2026.
Mahnoor, daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, tied the knot with Azan Jabbar in an intimate ceremony attended by close family members.
The Mahnoor Safdar wedding celebrations also brought together prominent members of the Sharif family, including former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The Jati Umra nikkah remained a private family event, but pictures from the occasion quickly attracted attention online.
Mahnoor’s regal bridal look
For the Mahnoor Safdar nikkah, the bride chose a metallic sage peshwas by Pakistani designer Nida Azwer.
The outfit featured traditional embellishments including mirror work, hirmuch, gota and zardozi.
She paired it with a matching silk dupatta featuring a mirror-work border and detailed zardozi and gota embroidery.

She wore the Le Soleil suite by Lebanese jewellery house Mouawad, reportedly valued at $42 million and featuring 211 carats of white and yellow diamonds.
She also wore a two-tone Rolex Lady-Datejust with yellow gold, stainless steel, a black dial and diamond hour markers.
The watch was reportedly worth around $11,000.
Azan Jabbar’s sophisticated style
Groom Azan Jabbar opted for a sophisticated prince coat by renowned Pakistani designer Faraz Manan.
His traditional look complemented the elegant setting of the Jati Umra nikkah.
The groom’s understated styling provided a contrast to the bride’s heavily embellished ensemble.
Maryam Nawaz’s elegant look
Maryam Nawaz also turned to a Pakistani designer for her daughter’s special occasion.
She wore a custom kurta by Parniyaan by Ayesha Jawad, featuring an heirloom Chantilly lace piece, Swarovski crystals, marori and jamdani embroidery and real gemstones.

Her jewellery included a red gemstone necklace and matching earrings that appeared to be diamond-encrusted.

Shanzeh Ali Rohale’s designer choice
Mahnoor’s sister-in-law Shanzeh Ali Rohale also caught attention with her outfit.
She wore a wine-coloured georgette lehenga by Indian designer Manish Malhotra, featuring gold taban sequins and a matching embroidered dupatta.
She paired the outfit with what appeared to be a statement diamond necklace.
