KARACHI (Web Desk): The Sindh government has announced a new Pink Bus route for women, offering safe and convenient travel during busy hours.

The new route will start on 17 November 2025, running from Abdullah Chowk to Namayish, aimed at helping women travel easily during peak traffic times.

Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon shared details on Saturday, saying the Pink Bus will operate three times daily:

Morning: 8 am to 9 am

Afternoon: 1 pm to 2 pm

Evening: 5 pm to 7 pm

The schedule is designed to make commuting safer and simpler along the busiest city streets for women.

Minister Memon added that the service is exclusively for women, with comfort and security as top priorities. Each bus will include modern security features, a tracking system, and trained staff to ensure safe travel.

He also said that the Sindh government plans to expand the Pink Bus network to more areas in the coming months.

The minister emphasized that this initiative supports government efforts to improve women’s access to education and employment, as reliable and safe transport is a key part of addressing their needs.

The new Pink Bus route shows the government is serious about women’s safety in the city. Regular, secure transport during peak hours can help women go to work or school without worry. Expanding the network could make city travel more inclusive and stress-free for women in the long run.
