Former Prime Minister and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), who is currently imprisoned at Central Jail Rawalpindi, was allowed to meet his wife Bushra Bibi.

According to jail sources, the meeting was arranged under strict rules and regulations and took place under the supervision of jail authorities, allowing the couple to speak with each other.

Sources said PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi remained together for around 45 minutes. During the meeting, they inquired about each other’s well-being and discussed domestic matters.

Jail officials stated that this was not the first meeting, as Imran Khan and his wife were also allowed to meet last Tuesday. However, due to security reasons and jail rules, no other family member, relative, or party leader was permitted to meet him on this occasion as well.

Meanwhile, PTI leaders said that allowing Imran Khan to meet his wife is a positive development and demanded that all other legal and human rights be fully ensured.

It is worth noting that the PTI founder is currently imprisoned at Adiala Jail Rawalpindi in connection with multiple cases, where court proceedings are ongoing.
