LAHORE (Web Desk): Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA) has warned citizens about fake e-challan websites and fraudulent SMS messages circulating in the city.

Only messages from the official number 8070 are genuine. Citizens should use the official echallan.psca.gop.pk website or the Public Safety app to verify any e-challan.

The spokesperson of Safe City Authority clarified, “Safe City never asks for cash, account details, or bank information through SMS. We do not request any card number, PIN, or security code from citizens.”

The authority urged people receiving suspicious or fake messages to immediately contact the police emergency helpline 15 or the FIA Cyber Crime Wing. Citizens should never make any payments on suspicious messages or websites.

PSCA emphasized that all services provided by Punjab Safe City are completely free for citizens. The authority is actively taking legal action against all fake websites and fraudulent numbers.
