olice have been directed to arrest Gandapur and present him in court. The hearing was presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Nasr Minallah Baloch.
Although, a co-accused appeared in court, but proceedings for framing charges were adjourned until January 20 due to Gandapur’s absence. The case stems from an audio leak in which Gandapur was allegedly discussing weapons, licences, and personnel.
Gandapur has faced multiple non-bailable warrants in other cases for repeatedly missing court proceedings.
On November 17, a magistrate issued an arrest warrant in a liquor and arms recovery case after he failed to appear despite repeated summons.

That case was related to the October 2016 recovery of five Kalashnikov rifles, a pistol, six magazines, a bulletproof vest, three teargas shells, and bottles of alcohol.
The former KP chief minister has consistently denied the allegations, claiming that the weapons were licensed and the bottle labeled as alcohol actually contained honey.
The case has now dragged on for nearly nine years, with multiple delays due to Gandapur’s absence.
