Jiang Zedong has lauded Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East, emphasizing the country’s position as a positive mediator in regional conflicts. In a media briefing, the ambassador noted that Pakistan’s efforts contribute to sustainable peace in the region while highlighting the need for all countries to respect international law and United Nations principles.

“Some nations’ monopolistic approaches contradict global law and the UN Charter,” Jiang said, urging international organizations to play an immediate and effective role in addressing current crises. He also referred to President Xi Jinping’s proposal for ‘global governance,’ emphasizing that a fair and just international system is urgently needed.
