Rescue officials urged citizens to be careful during Basant celebrations and avoid dangerous actions such as climbing poles, roofs, or trees to catch kites. They warned that unsafe kite flying and careless behavior can lead to serious injuries and loss of life.
Officials also said that lack of safety measures and public negligence are major reasons behind such tragic incidents during Basant every year. They emphasized that public awareness and responsible behavior are necessary to prevent further loss of innocent lives.
This tragedy shows that Basant, while a joyful festival, can quickly turn dangerous. Many people ignore safety in excitement and take serious risks. Authorities may now increase safety warnings or restrictions to prevent more accidents. Public cooperation will be the key to avoiding such heartbreaking losses in the future.
