Samar Haroon Bilour to join PML-N

PESHAWAR (Suno News): Senior leader of the Awami National Party (ANP) and former member of the provincial assembly Samar Haroon Bilour has said goodbye to the party after a long political association. She has decided to join the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz).

According to details, Samar Haroon Bilour will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad, after which she will formally announce her joining the PML-N.

Her son Daniyal Haroon Bilour also confirmed the news, saying that two days ago, senior Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Amir Muqam had come to his house and formally invited Samar Bilour to join the PML-N.

According to Daniyal Haroon Bilour, during this meeting, Amir Muqam also arranged a telephonic conversation between Samar Haroon Bilour and Nawaz Sharif, in which the former prime minister welcomed her. Inspired by Nawaz Sharif’s encouragement and the political strategy of the PML-N, Samar Haroon Bilour decided to join the party.

Samar Haroon Bilour belongs to a well-known political family. She is the daughter-in-law of Shaheed Bashir Ahmed Bilour and the widow of Shaheed Haroon Bilour. Her family holds a prominent position in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa politics and her decades-long association with the ANP has always been noteworthy. Samar Bilour played an important role as the party’s spokesperson and in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in the past.
