
The meeting turned into a show of unity against Israel’s recent aggression.
The discussion between the two leaders was described as extremely warm and cordial. Both leaders exchanged detailed views on the worsening situation after Israel’s actions in Doha.
Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned Israel’s assault, calling it a deliberate move to derail Middle East peace efforts. He praised Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s bold and wise leadership in uniting the Muslim world at this critical juncture.
The Prime Minister assured Saudi Arabia of Pakistan’s full diplomatic backing, especially at the UN Security Council, where Pakistan is a non-permanent member, as well as in other global forums including the OIC.
He stressed that convening the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha has sent a powerful message: Muslims around the world are speaking with one voice against Israel’s unlawful aggression threatening regional peace and stability.
Reaffirming the historic brotherly ties between the two nations, Shehbaz thanked the Kingdom for always standing by Pakistan in times of difficulty.

The Saudi Crown Prince welcomed Shehbaz Sharif’s upcoming state visit to Riyadh later this week, which is expected to cover a comprehensive agenda on bilateral, regional and global issues.
Shehbaz also conveyed deep respect for King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. In response, Mohammed bin Salman appreciated Pakistan’s active diplomatic role at the UNSC and OIC, particularly its solidarity with Qatar in this crisis.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir also joined the high-level talks, underlining the importance Pakistan attached to this meeting.
