LAHORE: (Web Desk) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab’s acting president Hammad Azhar has resigned again from his party position.

Hammad Azhar stepped down after PTI leader Azam Swati accused him of obstructing the work of party member Alia Hamza. Following these allegations, Azhar announced that he was leaving all party positions.

In his statement, Azhar clarified that when PTI founder Imran Khan asked about the issue, Alia Hamza expressed surprise and denied facing any obstruction from him.

Azhar added that his powers were already transferred to four regional presidents last year, and even his constituency’s organizational matters were not decided with his input.

He mentioned that he had previously submitted his resignation twice, but it was rejected. However, this time, he is resigning permanently and will continue working for PTI as an ordinary member, with no interest in holding any future party positions.
