According to website “WABetaInfo”, that publishes the latest information about WhatsApp, WhatsApp is developing a new feature for the web called "Chat Media Hub".
The purpose of this feature is that you don t have to go into each chat separately to find photos, videos, documents, links, etc. Instead, all these things will be collected in one place so that you can easily view and manage them.
Chat Media Hub will be a new section that will be added to the sidebar of WhatsApp Web. There will be a new button in the sidebar in the web client, clicking on which will open this media hub. Thanks to the above feature, all media files will be available in one place, regardless of which chat they were shared from.
WABetaInfo also shared this news on X (Previously known as Twitter) stating, “WhatsApp is working on a chat media hub feature to manage images, videos, links, and documents on Web! WhatsApp is developing a feature that will centralize all shared images, videos, GIFs, documents, and links across every chat.”

If you remember sending someone a photo or file, but you can t remember which chat it was in, you no longer need to open each chat. Just open the "Media Hub" and easily find it from there.
Currently, this feature is in its early stages and is not even available in the beta version. WhatsApp has not given a date for its final release, but it is likely to be introduced to general users soon.
