Imran Khan files petition for medical check-up by Shaukat Khanum doctors

ISLAMABAD (Suno News): KPK Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has approached the Islamabad High Court for a medical examination of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to details, the prison Hospital and Shaukat Khanum Hospital were made parties in the petition filed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, requesting that the medical team of Shaukat Khanum Hospital be allowed to conduct monthly medical examinations and necessary tests.

In a petition filed in Islamabad through KP Chief Minister, PTI founding chairman Imran Khan has requested Shaukat Khanum Hospital to conduct his medical examination. The petition took the position that an order should be given for the PTI founder to undergo a medical examination, and that Shaukat Khanum’s team of doctors be allowed to conduct medical examinations and necessary tests every month.

The petition has requested that the parties should be ordered to share copies of the medical reports with the court and Imran Khan’s family members. For immediate relief, the PTI founder should be ordered to undergo examination by doctors at Shaukat Khanum Hospital within 3 days. The petition has been filed in the court by Ali Amin Gandapur through lawyer Raja Zahoor-ul-Hassan.

The petition stated that the founder of PTI is 72 years old and regular medical check-ups are necessary. The founder of PTI has lost weight during his imprisonment, and there is a possibility that he may be suffering from various diseases. The medical history of the founder of PTI is available at Shaukat Khanum Hospital, and the team there should be allowed to conduct monthly medical check-ups and necessary tests.

The petition has requested that Dr Asim Yousuf, Dr Faisal Sultan and Dr Samina Niazi should be given access to the PTI founder for medical examination and tests.
