LAHORE: (Suno News) Former Sindh governor and ex-leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Muhammad Zubair has decided to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

In a Suno TV programme, Muhammad Zubair told Athar Kazmi that he would join PTI in the near future, stating that PTI stood in the right direction of history.

He said that every possible effort had been made to prevent Imran Khan and PTI from participating in the February 8 elections, adding that Imran Khan had been sentenced in three cases a week before the elections to disappoint the PTI workers.

He said that election symbol had been taken away from PTI a few days before the election, adding that PTI had achieved a historic victory in difficult circumstances.

He said that every effort to give majority to PML-N had failed, adding that every effort to stop Imran Khan had not succeeded.

He said that the arrest of Faiz Hameed did not pose any threat to PTI or Imran Khan, adding that the supporter of Imran Khan would not be bothered by it.

“No political party can be broken by such measures,” he stated.
