Judge Amjad Ali Shah of the Special Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi heard 31 cases filed in connection with the November 24 and 26 protests. A panel of lawyers including Muhammad Faisal Malik appeared on behalf of former first lady Bushra Bibi, while prosecutor Zaheer Shah prosecuted the case.

Lawyer Muhammad Faisal Malik, while presenting arguments, said that Bushra Bibi was not interrogated in these cases in the presence of her husband, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan. Despite court orders, Bushra Bibi has not yet been interrogated in these cases by the investigating officer at Adiala Jail.
After hearing the arguments of the lawyers, the court extended Bushra Bibi s interim bail in 31 cases until August 12.
