The court remarked in the order that the case was called thrice since morning but the accused did not show up.

Fatahullah Burki representing the PTI leader on behalf of his senior counsel argued that his client could not turn up before the court because of flood situation.

However, the senior counsel told the court that he would submit a medical report about Gandapur as he was not well.

Over the contrasting statements, the court remarked: “You said he was not doing well while your assistant said it was due to flood that he could not appear.”

The court then adjourned the case till tomorrow (Thursday).
