Lahore police have arrested well-known stage actress Samar Rana in a deeply disturbing case involving the alleged abuse and sexual assault of a 14-year-old domestic maid.

The incident came to light after the young girl filed a complaint at Nawab Town Police Station, leading to the registration of a formal case.

The maid at the actress s house was sexually attacked by five unidentified men, according to the FIR filed at the Nawab Town Police Station.

Along with the attack, the accused allegedly made footage of the abuse. It is also alleged that Samar Rana threatened the girl into silence and physically abused her.

Police acted swiftly, arresting Samar Rana and launching an investigation to identify and apprehend the other suspects involved.

Authorities have confirmed that raids are ongoing, and more arrests are expected soon.
