
All of the deceased were from the extended Umar Bacha family of Totalai village in Buner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on July 26, 2025 Six others from the same family were injured.
The group of 13 had traveled to the Kingdom to perform Umrah and was returning from Arafat to Medina when the fatal crash occurred.
The deceased belonged to Dagai‑Khudokhel area. According to family sources, among the victims were children and other close relatives of the Umar Bacha household.

Funeral prayers for the deceased will be held in Saudi Arabia, while the injured are currently receiving medical care in local hospitals in the Kingdom. NOCs for the burial of some victims have already been issued by Pakistani authorities in Jeddah.

The Pakistani consulate in Jeddah is also known to offer active assistance to victims’ families
Authorities in both countries—Saudi Arabia and Pakistan—are expected to continue their support and provide all necessary assistance to the injured and bereaved.
