The committee has approved the following names for general seats: Murad Saeed, Faisal Javed, Mirza Khan Afridi, and Pir Noorul Haq Qadri, as per details.
For the seat of women, Rubeena Naz has been picked, and Azam Swati has been chosen for the technocrat seat. Mashal Yousafzai will run for the seat left by Dr. Sania Nishtar.
PTI s official press release mentioned that the candidates were settled by unopposed decisions so that the vote-buying culture in Senate elections could be removed.
Following a consultation with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa parliamentary party, it was decided unanimously to give priority to unopposed elections so that the practice of vote selling and buying was brought to an end.

The PTI founder bestowed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa parliamentary party with the power to decide the election procedure, and the uppermost leadership of the party assured wholehearted confidence to their decision.
The decision was approved by the political committee with the majority of votes, and it was also declared that all other papers of nomination would be withdrawn to support unopposed process.
It is noteworthy to add here that previously, PTI candidates had rejected the withdrawal from the Senate election even after a mutually agreed deal between the government and the opposition.
Elections for 11 Senate seats from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would take place on July 21. The seven general seats, two women seats, and two seats for technocrats and ulema are included.
