That increased manifold in June, with Rs. 86 million paid by 129,000 offenders. Overall, well over Rs. 108 million has been recovered in only two months.
Motorists are advised to verify their challan status at https://echallan.psca.gop.pk by providing their CNIC and vehicle registration or chassis number.
Simultaneously, Lahore s Traffic Police have launched a strict campaign against fake, decorative, and non-standard license plates. FIRs are being registered against the offenders since last Friday under strict traffic laws.
A short three-day window of awareness has given to inform the public and promote voluntary compliance. With the grace period expiring, vehicle owners who have tampered with plates and producers of the altered plates will be legally pursued, as such practices constitute criminal acts under current regulation.
