Punjab govt declares Feb 5 public holiday

LAHORE (Web Desk): The Punjab government has announced a public holiday on February 5 for Kashmir Day.
The provincial government has issued an official notification.
According to details, the Punjab government has issued a notification for the public holiday, and all offices and institutions will remain closed on this day.
The February 5 will be observed as Kashmir Solidarity Day, a time to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
It is worth noting that earlier, the federal government had announced 17 public holidays for the year 2025, including the holiday on February 5. February 5, which falls on a Wednesday, will be celebrated as Kashmir Solidarity Day.
