More than 37.22 million users have benefited from the PSCA’s free Wi-Fi service since its initial launch, consuming over 905 terabytes of data. This highlights the strong demand for dependable and accessible internet in public spaces. The infrastructure of PSCA has been upgraded to Wi-Fi 6 technology to keep up with the growing usage and demand, promising users faster speeds, reduced lag, and more stable connections, particularly in crowded areas.
This initiative aligns with the government’s broader goal of promoting digital inclusion and developing smart city solutions. The PSCA is helping bridge the digital divide by expanding free internet access, which in turn will make it easier for millions of residents to stay connected, work, study, and access vital online services from anywhere in the city.
