
The weather forecast indicates that parts of Sindh, southern Punjab, and Balochistan are expected to experience temperatures 7°C higher than normal.
Temperatures in many cities including Lahore, Peshawar, Sargodha, and Multan are predicted to reach or surpass 40°C.
Meanwhile, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Mithi, Sibi, and Turbat are likely to face temperatures of 45°C or more.
Nawabshah recorded the highest temperature in the country, reaching 48°C, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

In Karachi, temperatures are forecast to range between 36°C and 38°C, with humidity levels at 76%. Sea breezes will blow at a speed of 9 kilometers per hour.
Given the rising heat, the Punjab Education Department has announced early summer vacations for schools.
The holidays will begin on June 1, as per the notification issued in response to the intensifying temperatures.
Earlier, the Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) warned that temperatures in the province could rise to 45°C by the end of April.
Citizens are advised to stay indoors when possible, wear light-colored, loose-fitting, and stay well-hydrated, and avoid direct sun exposure.
