PTI declares Sept 27 Peshawar rally as milestone for Imran Khan’s release

(Web Desk): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has termed its upcoming rally in Peshawar on September 27 as a decisive milestone in the struggle for the release of party founder Imran Khan.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, said that the historic rally would “write a new chapter” in the political movement.

According to reports, a high-level meeting was chaired by CM Gandapur in Peshawar, attended by members of PTI’s district committee. The meeting finalized preparations and strategy for the September 27 gathering. It was decided that the rally will be held near Ring Road Motorway Chowk and will begin at 4 p.m.

The Chief Minister appointed his spokesperson, Faraz Mughal, as the focal person for the event. The gathering will also feature recitation of Darood and a collective prayer, underscoring its symbolic significance.

Speaking at the meeting, Gandapur stressed that the entire nation was united for Imran Khan’s release. “Under the leadership of Imran Khan, the people are fighting for their rights. Everyone must come together to further strengthen this movement,” he said.

He further added that the Peshawar rally would mark a historic moment for PTI, showcasing the party’s determination to continue its struggle. “When a nation is united, no power can stop its path to freedom. This movement is for the future of the people and the establishment of true justice,” Gandapur remarked.

The rally is expected to draw a massive turnout and is being seen as a test of PTI’s street power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
