
As per the statement, the premier will be joined by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, as well as other senior ministers and government representatives. At the high-level segment, PM Shehbaz will present Pakistan s viewpoint on critical global issues, including crises in Palestine and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK).
The Foreign Office has confirmed that the prime minister will join a gathering of "select" Muslim leaders with US President Donald Trump to discuss regional and global peace and security.
During the UNGA, PM Shehbaz will highlight the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza, calling for firm international action to bring an end to Palestinian suffering. He will also focus on the resolution of the long-standing issues of Palestine and IIOJK, recalling Pakistan s appeal for self-determination of oppressed peoples.
The prime minister will then detail Pakistan s vision for regional security, climate change, terrorism, Islamophobia, and sustainable development. He will attend high-level meetings such as the UN Security Council, Global Development Initiative (GDI), and a Special High-Level Event on Climate Action.

Bilaterally, Shehbaz will meet with various world leaders and high-ranking UN officials to discuss matters of common concern.
The Foreign Office stated that the prime minister s attendance at the annual meeting of global leaders will demonstrate Pakistan s steadfast support for multilateralism, the UN Charter, preventing conflicts and global prosperity in its new role as a Security Council member.
