NADRA revealed that approximately 7 million young adults in Pakistan are still without a Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC). These individuals are legally adults but have not submitted any application to obtain their ID cards.
NADRA officials have urged citizens and parents to immediately approach NADRA offices to apply for their children’s identity cards, or for added convenience, to apply through the Pak-ID mobile app.

As per experts, without an identity card, individuals face significant hurdles in daily life as they will not only be deprived of their legal and civil rights but also of access to education admissions, employment opportunities, voting rights, and other essential services.
NADRA has strongly advised the public not to delay the process, and individuals must obtain their ID cards as soon as possible to ensure they become a part of the national record and so that they can exercise and benefit from their legal and civic rights.
