Metro Bus Service suspended in Lahore amid protest fears
(Web Desk): Authorities have suspended the Metro Bus Service following fears of possible protests in the city.

After the Orange Line Train Service was halted for the second consecutive day, the Mass Transit Authority confirmed that Metro Bus operations have also been temporarily suspended due to multiple road closures across Lahore.

Officials stated that both the Metro Bus and Orange Line Train stations will remain closed today as part of precautionary security measures. The authority said the services were halted “to ensure public safety and to prevent any inconvenience amid road blockages.”

Citizens, however, have expressed frustration over the sudden suspension, saying it has made commuting extremely difficult across the city, as the major means of transport are suspended.
