(Web Desk): Pakistan Army killed seven India-backed militants in a Dera Ismail Khan operation, where brave officer Major Sabtain Haider embraced martyrdom while leading his troops.

Seven India-backed militants were killed in a Pakistan Army operation in Dera Ismail Khan, while Major Sabtain Haider embraced martyrdom during the fierce exchange of fire.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted a targeted intelligence-based operation in the Daraban area of D.I. Khan following credible reports about the presence of terrorists linked to the Indian proxy network “Fitna-tul-Khawarij.”

During the intense operation, Pakistan Army troops eliminated seven militants belonging to the India-backed outfit. However, Major Sabtain Haider, aged 30 and a resident of Quetta, who was leading the mission, fought bravely and embraced shahadat while confronting the terrorists.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants, who were involved in multiple attacks on security forces, law enforcement agencies, and innocent civilians.

The ISPR spokesperson said that a clearance operation is underway to eliminate any remaining India-backed terrorists in the region. “The Pakistan Army remains fully committed to eradicating terrorism in all its forms,” the statement added. “The sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve to defeat the menace of terrorism.”

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded the successful operation and paid tribute to Major Sabtain Haider Shaheed for sacrificing his life to thwart the enemy’s nefarious designs.
