How to apply for a NADRA Child Registration Certificate (CRC/B Form)
(Web Desk): The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has streamlined the process to obtain a Child Registration Certificate (CRC) commonly known as the B Form.

Eligibility & Required Documents

To apply for the CRC, you must provide:
• A computerized birth certificate issued by your Union Council (Pakistan-based or abroad).
• A valid CNIC or NICOP of at least one parent.
• If a guardian applies instead of a parent, bring an authorized guardianship letter and identity proof.
• The child must be present physically:
o For under 10 years old: photo only.
o For 10 to 18 years old: photo plus fingerprints and eye scan are mandatory.

NADRA recommends registering your child within three months of birth, although online registration is allowed up to one year via the Pak ID app.

Application Process

Option 1: Online via Pak ID App (For children under one year)

1.     Sign in or create an account in the Pak ID app after downloading.

2.     Tap “Issuance of Identity Document” → “Child Registration Certificate (CRC)”.

3.     Enter the 13-digit CNIC of the applying parent.

4.     Review the auto-prefilled data.

5.     Choose your processing priority (standard or executive).

6.     Upload the child’s photo and parent’s digital signature.

7.     Enter the child’s personal details and upload required documents.

8.     Complete one parent’s fingerprint verification.

9.     Review and submit your application.

After approval, you can download or print the B Form from the app or NADRA portal.

1.     Office during working hours (typically 8:30 am–6 pm; some Mega Centres operate 24/7), you can visit your nearest NADRA office.

2.     Then wait for your turn after collecting a token at reception.

3.     For biometric verification, proceed to the counter: photo and fingerprints. No additional attestation is required if both parents are present; otherwise, a gazetted officer or public representative must verify the form.

4.     The agent will print the application form after data entry; verify all details in the application carefully.

5.     Submit the finalized form for processing.
