Dense fog engulfs parts of Punjab, disrupts traffic on motorways

LAHORE (Web Desk): Dense fog engulfed the plain areas of Punjab and disrupted the traffic and flight operations.
The thick fog and low visibility around Allama Iqbal Airport have disrupted the flight operations.
Due to low visibility, sections of motorways also closed. According to spokesperson of Motorway Police, Motorway M2 from Thokar Niaz baig to Kot Momin, M3 from Lahore to Jaranwala, M4 from Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad and M11 from Lahore to Sialkot have been closed to all kinds of traffic.
They Motorway Police have urged the drivers to drive slowly and switch on fog lights. They have advised the motorists to use Grand Trunk (GT) Road for travelling.
