(Web Desk): Pakistan laptop factory plans are underway as Chinese company HYF considers setting up a laptop and tablet manufacturing plant in Pakistan.

A top official in Pakistan, Haroon Akhtar Khan, met with the boss of a Chinese company called HYF.

HYF makes laptops, tablets, and fingerprint devices. They talked about opening a factory in Pakistan to make laptops and tablets.

Haroon said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wants to help Chinese investors and make sure their money is safe in Pakistan.

The government is also making a new Mobile Device Policy that will include laptops and tablets.

To help investors from China, the government has made it easier to get visas. Now, Chinese investors can get visit and business visas in just 1 to 3 days.

Haroon asked two government groups, the Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation and the Engineering Development Board, to help HYF set up their factory smoothly in Pakistan.

This news shows Pakistan is trying to grow its technology industry by inviting foreign companies like HYF to invest.

Setting up a local factory for laptops and tablets could create jobs and reduce the need to import these devices.

The quick visa process and government support signal Pakistan’s serious effort to attract Chinese investors.

If successful, this project might boost Pakistan’s electronics manufacturing and strengthen trade ties between Pakistan and China.
