(Web Desk): A vehicle fell into a river in the Neelum Valley, killing six people, including five women.

An incident has occurred in the Neelum Valley where a tourist vehicle fell into the Neelum River. According to the DDMA Neelum, the vehicle fell into a deep gorge at the Chalhana location in the Neelum River. Six people died in the accident, the bodies of six people have been recovered. There were 7 people in the car, including 5 women and a child.

DDMA Neelam says that a child is missing in the accident, and police and rescue teams are continuing operations to search for him. All those killed in the accident belong to Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir.

Police and rescue teams, along with the assistance of residents, promptly launched a rescue operation at the site to recover the bodies and clear the area.

Earlier, two people lost their lives; one was seriously injured, and four were missing after a vehicle carrying a wedding party fell into a river in Gilgit on Sunday.

The incident took place near Burdas Nagar.
