Web Desk: On 23 February 2026, a horrifying Kurram attack took place when extremists targeted a Federal Constabulary (FC) post using a quadcopter drone.

Rescue 1122 ambulances arrived to evacuate injured personnel, but the extremists attacked again, setting one ambulance on fire. This terrorist brutality killed several FC officers, while the second ambulance managed to save other injured.

The attack shocked the local community in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Those martyred included soldiers Murad Gul, Ayan Khan, and Lance Naik Adil Khan.

The injured, including Constables Sabir, Muhammad Yousuf, Hanif, and ambulance driver Ahmed Hussain, are all Pashtun locals now receiving treatment in hospitals in Bannu and Kurram.

The extremists filmed the attack and uploaded it online, spreading fear. This Kurram attack shows the extent of terrorist brutality in Pakistan and highlights how Pashtun locals continue to face threats.

Targeting the wounded during Ramadan is a cruel act that Islam strictly forbids. The Ramadan attack also demonstrates the extremist strategy to terrorize innocent communities, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
